>> This years Sundance was exceedingly successful for New York OFFICE and our Clients. Congratulations to Writer/Director George Ratliff, whose film, JOSHUA, was acquired by Fox Searchlight.

>> New York OFFICE welcomes its new clients. Cinematographers: Tim Hudson, Vlad Subotic and Aaron Platt. Editors: Doug Fitch, Andy Grieve, Jeff Groth and Jennifer Tiexiera. Costume Designers: Maya Lieberman and Patrick Milani.

>> Sundance 2007. The Weinstein Company and Lions Gate acquired TEETH, a film lensed by Cinematographer Wolfgang Held and Production designed by Paul Avery. The film also earned its lead actress Jess Weixler a Special Jury Prize.

>> MANDA BALA (Send A Bullett,) won the Documentary Grand Jury Prize - The film was edited by Andy Grieve.

>> Editor Annette Davey cut the film, WAITRESS, which was acquired by Fox Searchlight.

>> Many of our clients had their work showcased at the prestigious South by Southwest Film Festival this year. Pieces included: Lola which was shot by Vladimir Subotic, Murder Party which was edited by Marc Beroza, Day 73 With Sara was edited by Grant Myers, Elvis and Annabelle with costume design by Alysia Raycraft, Suffering Mans Charity was shot by Alex Vendler

>> Hair and Make Up Artist, Donyale McRae was recently featured in the NY Post for his innovative make-up approaches which he used on each and every Academy Award Nominee, for the Big Shows opening montage.

>> New York OFFICE welcomes new staff Dave Marken and Janet Eisner.

October 2006

>> New York OFFICE is proud to congratulate writer/director Mora Stephens, for her film CONVENTIONEERS, the Red-State-Blue-State love story opens in New York on October 20th at the Village East Cinemas. Mora and her husband Joel will be at the opening for a Q&A session.

>> New York OFFICE congratulates Oren Moverman on the completion of principal photography on both I'M NOT THERE, the Bob Dylan biopic co-written with director Todd Haynes, produced by Killer Films, starring Cate Blanchett and Heath Ledger; and MARRIAGE, co-written with director Ira Sachs based on the John Bingham novel for Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, starring Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper, Rachel McAdams, and Patricia Clarkson.

>> New York OFFICE welcomes its new clients: Editors Melody London, Sam G. Bauer and Nico Sarudiansky; Costume Designers Elizabeth Shein, Michael Bevins and Melissa Des Rosiers; Production Designer Chuck Renaud; Directors of Photography Carlos Verón, Peter Hawkins, and Rick Lopez, and Frederick Jacobi.

>> Director George Ratliff is completing post production on his debut narrative feature film, JOSHUA, produced by ATO Pictures, starring Vera Farmiga and Sam Rockwell.

April 2006

>> NYO welcomes Tamara Menear who joins us with myriad experience, most recently with HD Net. Tamara will serve as the New York Below The Line Coordinator.

>> New York OFFICE is proud to congratulate Writer Director Mora Stephens on winning the John Cassavettes Independent Spirit Award for her film Conventioneers. Mora's newest project, GEORGIA HEAT will star Billy Bob Thornton and Yunjin Kim and is in the early stages of pre production.

>> New York OFFICE welcomes Writer/Producer Scott Kramer. Scott Kramer has produced numerous films - including Steven Soderbergh's THE LIMEY and FULL FRONTAL. Scott also wrote the screen adaptation of John Kennedy Toole's novel, CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES. Scott has recently completed the original screenplay BAIT & SWITCH.

>> Screenwriter Hal Haberman joins NY OFFICE after his film SPECIAL which he co directed with Jeremy Passmore premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.

November 2005

>> Leslie Nowinski comes to NEW YORK OFFICE with a host of experience and enthusiasm having worked as a Producer, Production Manager and Artists Manager. Leslie will handle Commercials and Music Videos for the NY HQ.

>> Dan De Filippo joins NEW YORK OFFICE having worked at William Morris in Los Angeles and NY. Dan will handle Features and Television from the NY HQ. He will also assist in managing above the line Writers and Directors.
